What is ultrasound?
Ultrasound imaging is a non-invasive, non-radiating method of imaging arteries and veins of the body. Your doctor might ask you to obtain an ultrasound to evaluate arteries of your neck, abdomen or legs. Sometimes, your doctor might be concerned about a potentially fatal problem called Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and send you for an ultrasound of your leg veins. At Vein & Vascular Experts, we have the ability to perform these ultrasounds and get results to you and your doctor the same day.
Ultrasound Studies Performed
